Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 13, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using the TabDSP browser extension ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Software.
TabDSP is developed and operated by Sound Reaction LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a Nevada limited liability company.
2. Description of the Software
TabDSP is a browser extension that provides professional-grade audio digital signal processing (DSP) for audio playing in browser tabs. The Software includes equalization, dynamics processing, metering, and related audio tools. All audio processing occurs locally within your browser.
3. License Grant
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software in accordance with your selected tier:
- Free Tier: 8-Band Graphic EQ, Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer, Linear Phase EQ Mode, Mid/Side Processing, RMS Metering, and Input/Output Gain controls at no cost.
- Enthusiast Tier: All Free features plus Single-Band Compressor and Module Reordering.
- Professional Tier: All Enthusiast features plus Multiband Compressor, True Peak Limiter, and LUFS Metering.
You may not sublicense, redistribute, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except to the extent such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Paid tiers (Enthusiast and Professional) are available as:
- Subscription (Monthly or Annual): Recurring billing until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of your current billing period.
- Perpetual (Lifetime): A one-time purchase granting permanent access to the licensed tier.
All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles all payment processing, tax collection, and VAT/GST compliance on our behalf. By making a purchase, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service.
5. Device Activations
Each license key may be activated on up to 6 devices simultaneously. You may deactivate a license on one device and activate it on another at any time through the extension's license panel. Automatic deactivation occurs when you uninstall the extension.
6. License Validation and Offline Use
The Software periodically validates your license with our licensing provider:
- Subscription licenses: Re-validated every 24 hours with a 7-day offline grace period.
- Perpetual licenses: Re-validated periodically with a 90-day offline grace period.
If validation cannot be completed within the applicable grace period, the Software will revert to the Free tier until a successful validation occurs. The only data transmitted during validation is your license key and a randomly generated instance identifier.
7. Grandfather Clause
Users who installed TabDSP before the introduction of the tier system are automatically granted a permanent Professional tier license at no cost. Grandfathered licenses do not expire, require no license key, and are not subject to validation or device limits.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Software to circumvent digital rights management (DRM) or copy-protection mechanisms
- Share, distribute, or publicly post license keys
- Attempt to bypass or manipulate the licensing system
- Use the Software in any manner that violates applicable law
9. Intellectual Property
The Software, including all code, design, documentation, and associated materials, is the intellectual property of Sound Reaction LLC. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TabDSP is currently in Pre-Beta and may contain bugs or incomplete features.
We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all websites, browsers, or audio content. Audio processing results may vary depending on source material, browser version, and system configuration.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SOUND REACTION LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Software shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your license at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy any copies in your possession. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as described in our Refund Policy.
You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the Software and cancelling any active subscription.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Software after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Nevada.
